Senior Program Associate

Sukriti is currently a Senior Program Associate at Global Health Strategies and provides support on their Tuberculosis and Grand Challenges projects. Prior to coming to GHS, Sukriti worked with PATH, New Delhi for two and a half years and focused on advocacy and research for issues like HIV/AIDS and sexual and reproductive health. Her notable work at PATH included the Cervical Cancer Prevention Project, which engaged parliamentarians and cervical cancer patients in an effort to raise the disease's profile in Indian puiblications, and the Sure Start project, which focused on issues around maternal and new born child health.

Sukriti is a qualified lawyer (LLB) and was awarded the Inlaks Scholarship. She completed her Masters (LLM) in International Development Law and Human Rights at Warwick University, United Kingdom. She has worked through her educational years with various organisations like the National Human Rights Commission as well as an array of lawyers and courts dealing with issues of consumer rights, health, company law, labour law as well as family law. She has also published various papers and reports on these subjects.

Sukriti has written widely on a gamut of issues around health, human rights (specifically in relation to women and HIV+ patients), law, reproductive and sexual health and domestic violence.
