Sonali is a public health specialist a breadth of public health experience in India spanning national policy development, programme management and field implementation. Prior to joining GHS she worked with the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, India as a Senior Consultant for the National Health Mission the world’s largest public health programme. She has also worked with PATH India for their Immunization project, Care India and WHO for the polio eradication programme. Sonali holds a Master of Public Health from the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University in the City of New York with a specialization in Population and Family Health. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree (MBBS) from the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun India and was also awarded a Clinical Fellowship at the Freeman Hospital, University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Sonali remains passionate about increasing the prominence of public health and finding innovative solutions to improve the well-being and deliver sustainable health outcomes for vulnerable populations.
