Joelle is a recent graduate of the Dual B.A. Program between Columbia University and Sciences Po in Paris. She received a B.A. in Political Science with a regional specialization in the Middle East from Sciences Po, the premier social sciences institution in France, as well as a B.A. in Sustainable Development from Columbia University. At Columbia, she conducted in-depth independent research on safe water accessibility in arsenic-impacted areas of Bangladesh, motivating her to pursue a career in global health.
Throughout her academic career, Joelle held internships at the Global Mental Health Program at Columbia University, the Strategic Communications department of FTI Consulting in Paris, the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development in Amman, and the Office of U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein in Los Angeles.
