Jaclyn joined GHS after graduating with honors from Duke University with a BS in Biology. She also earned a certificate in Genome Science and Policy and a minor in Global Health. While at Duke, she pursued research in the lab and in the field. In the lab, she conducted research on heart regeneration in zebrafish for her honors thesis. She also investigated household sources of water contamination and connections to childhood cognitive development in Guatemala with the Duke Global Health Institute.
Jaclyn has also spent her summers participating in government internships; she has worked for the House of Representatives, the NIH, and the Center for Accelerating Innovation and Impact at USAID's Bureau for Global Health.
