Brad Tytel is a Vice President at Global Health Strategies, which he joined as an associate in 2006. At GHS, he has designed and implemented local, national and international media and advocacy campaigns in the US, Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia. His worked has ranged from local trainings and outreach for HIV prevention clinical trials, to managing media for major international health conferences, to high-level political engagement to accelerate efforts to address neglected diseases.

Immediately prior to joining GHS, Brad was a communications consultant with the Global Alliance for TB Drug Development. There he oversaw the redevelopment of the organization's digital communications program, and coordinated outreach to media and international partners.

In a prior life as a freelance journalist, Brad wrote, produced for, and edited publications in all mediums: print, broadcast, and online. He has an academic background in global development and politics, and he has extensive international knowledge and experience on six continents. He has also dabbled in the NGO world, consulting on issues ranging from independent film to criminal justice policy.

Brad holds an M.A. in Journalism from New York University, where he studied cultural, critical and international reporting; and a B.A. in Peace and Development Studies, magna cum laude, from Amherst College.
