Ben Tiede is a Manager at Global Health Strategies. Prior to GHS, Ben earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University. His research focused on using mouse models to better understand the connection between breast cancer, stem cells and pregnancy. After finishing his Ph.D. he completed a Masters in Public Policy at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University with a certificate in Health and Health Policy.
His coursework focused primarily on global health and vaccines, and most notably included a consulting project for Merck and the Wellcome Trust evaluating the launch of the Hilleman Labs in Delhi, India. Before Princeton, Ben earned a B.S. from Dickinson College with majors in Biology and Biochemistry and studied abroad at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.
