Amy Adelberger joined Global Health Strategies as Vice President in 2012 and focuses on the firm’s China portfolio. Her main interests are in developing R&D and manufacturing programs to support global health and agricultural development.
Prior to joining Global Health Strategies, she managed the Tuberculosis (TB) Program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where she was responsible for strategy and operations of a portfolio of research, development, delivery and advocacy investments in TB. While at the foundation, Amy managed multiple programs with engagement in China and launched a partnership with the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology. Before joining the foundation in 2006, she worked with the University of Washington and the International Training and Education Center on HIV/AIDS (I-TECH) to build capacity in national HIV/AIDS programs to scale up their use of Antiretroviral therapy.
Amy received a BA from Brown University where she majored in History, and an MPH from the University of Washington where she studied themigration of health care workers.
